At Peak VM, our team brings together decades of hands-on Lean expertise, design talent, and commercial knowledge to deliver visual management solutions that make a real difference on the shop floor.
With foundations rooted in Toyota-trained principles, we understand that effective visual management is about far more than aesthetics. It’s about driving performance, clarity, and continuous improvement. From lean training and coaching to full-scale design and manufacture, every member of our team plays a part in ensuring our clients get the results they need.
Nick Osborne
Managing Director
As a graduate engineer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK, Nick was literally schooled in the application of Lean best practice in a fast-moving Automotive manufacturing environment.
After spending some years developing his commercial knowledge in Industrial Sales, Nick returned to the Lean world at the formation of VMT, the forerunner of PEAK Visual Management.
Nick further developed his expertise in Visual Management delivering consultancy projects in industries as diverse as Rail, Pharmaceutical and Oil and Gas.
Nick has been the MD of PEAK since 2017 and relishes supporting PEAK clients in ever changing Lean and Visual Management trends as attitudes and best practice develop over time.
Lauren Edwards
Account Manager
Lauren has been with PEAK since 2012 and has developed from an initial design role into a very knowledgeable Account Manager.
Lauren is a relationship builder and takes great pride in the customer base she has helped support on their Lean and Visual Management journey.
Lauren has a talent for supporting clients’ who are implementing a full Visual Management roll out.
Her keen eye for detail and creative thinking ensures the solutions we supply not only have strong visual impact but perform the function they are intended, all the while maintain consistency in design and branding.
Josh Jones
Account Manager
Josh is a degree qualified Product Designer who joined PEAK in 2019.
Josh is a very capable technical thinker who can develop physical products to support an impactful Visual Management solution.
Josh has a particular talent for developing concept 3D visuals for solutions such as Visual Workstations, Workplace Graphics and Shadow board cabinets.
Josh thrives working on site with our clients to understand the challenges within their operations and helping to develop Visual Management solutions to overcome these challenges.
David Probyn
Director
With over 30 years of experience in senior Manufacturing or Operational management roles, there are very few around who can match David’s knowledge of Lean and Visual Management.
David spent 10 years as a senior manager at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK, from the very first car rolling off the line. He has since gone on to work with and advise some of the most recognisable names in UK industry.
Culture Change, Process Improvement and Quality performance are passions for David, and he believes everyone has potential inside them to be unlocked.
David has a strong passion for Visual Management and has fascinating anecdotes relating to the subject matter that date back to the very start of his career.
Richard Tinson
Business Advisor
Richard was a manager at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK and has since gone on to deliver Lean projects to some of the worlds largest Rail, Aerospace and Engineering companies.
Richard has a talent for training and coaching teams on the best use of Visual Management in ‘stand-up’ morning meetings or team briefs.
Richard is an expert on team behaviours and understands how best to use an impartial voice to obtain buy-in and create cohesive Lean working teams.
Along with working with our clients on their Lean and Visual Management journey’s, Richard works with the Peak VM Operations team to ensure our Safety, Quality and Delivery output are to the high standards we set for the business.
Chris West
Operations Director
Promoted to Operations Director in 2024 Chris has been with PEAK since 2013.
Chris began his career as a degree qualified designer who applied his talents to create Visually appealing and functional Visual Management designs. Chris soon began utilising his creative problem-solving skills to allow PEAK to develop the extensive range of Visual Management solutions our clients rely upon.
His organisational and leadership abilities provide the operational side of the business with invaluable direction and support allowing the PEAK team to deliver complex and detailed Visual management Projects across various sectors.
Calm under pressure, Chris ensures the PEAK clients always come first and ensures that the team provide the necessary support from design through manufacture to delivery.
